Skill:  Using the direction from the cascaded goals, establish your own Project or Pillar Team.  Would include choosing their team members,  coming up with a Deployment A3 with KPIs, and identifying a couple of initial actions.

 

Typical coachee:  Any Project Leader, Pillar Leader, or Steering Team Leader.

Skill:  Lead a team to establish a simple and effective Suggestion / Opportunity System, and incorporate a prioritization / assignment / communication process into it.

Skill:  Lead the team to capture the 8-wastes opportunities identified on the floor (and from the Strategic Planning process) into the Suggestion/Opportunity System, prioritizing them, and then incorporating them into the deployment A3's of project / pillar teams.  Would include discussing making adjustments to the number of people and structure of the teams.

 

Typical coachee:  Focused Improvement Leader, Sponsor, or Champion.

Skill:  Have a coaching conversation with someone who wants to change their habits and guiding them on how we change habits, and specifically on how they could change one bad habit.

Skill:  Use data to do an OEE analysis at the Constraint to pinpoint where to focus improvement efforts, and be able to communicate their findings with a team (who might not understand OEE).

 

Typical coachee:  Leader/Member of Focused Improvement, Daily Management System, Supply Chain Management, Machine Reliability, or a Sponsor.

Skill:  Deal with poor attendance or participation as a meeting facilitator.   Would be able to explain what they should do in that situation and why, focusing on how to prevent it in the first place.
