Why and How to Grow from Committees to Pillar Teams (Safety Example) (Audio)

Go into the following link, and find the audio of this lesson to play.  (You can also read the article or the transcript if you prefer).

As you listen to it, there are a couple of things to keep in mind.  This is an example of the Safety Committee or Employee Committee, which is usually the first Pillar to be formed and formalized.  This can help other Pillar Leaders understand how to grow their established (kaizen/project/functional) teams into Sub-Pillar teams and Pillar Teams.  And also note that the functional leaders need to be the Pillar Leaders, but they can start delegating their Sub-Pillar leaders (called a Chairperson in the lesson) to build their leadership skills.
